Music Teacher

German European School Manila (GESM) is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our international school community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who inspires students through engaging, high-quality music education and is committed to fostering creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Tasks

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the IB/PYP curriculum.
• Foster students' musical skills, creativity, and confidence through practical and theoretical learning.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Prepare students for school performances, concerts, and other musical events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
• Experience teaching within an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) environment
• Strong classroom management and communication skillsExcellent English language proficiency (spoken and written)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural international school setting
