n8n Automation Expert (Part-Time | 3-Month Contract)

Location: Philippines (Remote)
Contract Length: 3 months
Hours: ~10 hours/week
Time Zone Requirement: Must be available during U.S. Central Standard Time (CST)
Rate: $7/hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced n8n Automation Expert to help design, build, and optimize workflow automations across multiple business systems. This is a part-time, short-term role ideal for someone who is highly skilled in automation logic and enjoys working on practical, real-world workflows.

Youll be working closely with a founder and small technical team to create reliable, well-structured automations that connect APIs, SaaS tools, and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using n8n
• Create logic-driven workflows (conditions, branching, error handling, retries)
• Integrate APIs and third-party tools (CRMs, forms, calendars, messaging tools, databases, etc.)
• Debug, optimize, and document existing workflows
• Ensure automations are secure, scalable, and easy to maintain
• Provide clear explanations of workflow logic for handoff and future updates
• Attend short sync calls as needed during CST hours

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation or workflow engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with n8n
• Solid understanding of:
  • Webhooks
  • REST APIs
  • JSON
  • Authentication methods (API keys, OAuth, etc.)
• Ability to work 10 hours per week consistently
• Availability to collaborate during U.S. CST time zone
• Reliable internet connection and strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with Make.com, Zapier, or similar automation tools
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms (CRM, scheduling, messaging, payments)
• Experience working with healthcare or compliance-sensitive workflows
• Basic understanding of JavaScript for custom logic in automations

• Hours: 10 hrs/week
• Rate: $7/hour
• Potential for extension based on performance and project needs
