Network Analyst

As a Network Analyst, you will be responsible in conducting lifecycle analysis of network facilities and equipment, conducts an in-depth investigation of assets’ infant mortality, random and age-related failures, and to recommend improvements and/or solutions geared towards making the network highly reliable, thereby meeting or exceeding the department’s reliability indices target (i.e., SAIFI/SAIDI, MTBF, MTTR, etc.). You will work closely with the Distribution Network team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Collecting operational data from various sources.

  
  


• 
  

  Interpreting and analyzing data and its results using statistical techniques.

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying trends and patterns in line operations and maintenance towards improving performance and boosting efficiency.

  
  


• 
  

  Produce reports and operational dashboards that the department can keep track of.

  
  


• 
  

  Digitization of forms and creation of mobile applications in support of operations x

  
  


• 
  

  Understand and analyze the impact of any emerging and strategic technologies to line operations and provides guidance prior to adopting such technologies

  
  


• 
  

  Leads rapid experimentation, either convergent or divergent experiments, in validating and solving the right problems in line performance

  
  


• 
  

  Proposes (network) operational data can be created, sourced and gathered in the lack of it

  
  


• 
  

  Submits himself to training in data science courses and updates his skills set prudent to his job as a data analyst

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• 
  

  Registered Electrical Engineer

  
  


• Must have a driver's license


• Willing to undergo Basic Lineman's Training

Technical / Functional Skills:

  Ability to identify trends and patterns in line operations

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to analyze the impact of any emerging and strategic technologies to line operations

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to conduct or lead experimentation in solving line performance problems

  Knowledge of safety practices, field procedures, and proper use of testing tools and equipment.
