The Network and Communications Engineer will help in the design, implement, and maintain comprehensive network infrastructure solutions that meet current and future business requirements.

• This role involves configuring and managing networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls while maintaining detailed network documentation and topology diagrams.
• The engineer will monitor network performance to identify optimization opportunities, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve network-related problems to ensure the overall stability and security of the network environment. Additionally, the position requires implementing and maintaining network security protocols and access controls to protect organizational assets.
• The role includes supporting network-related projects from planning through implementation, assisting in optimizing network resources and capacity planning, and contributing to the development of network best practices and procedures.
• The engineer will ensure infrastructure alignment with industry standards and organizational requirements while working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Responsibilities also include providing technical support for network-related issues, participating in on-call rotation for critical network support, and documenting network changes while maintaining accurate configuration records.

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in network administration and engineering.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with networking protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN technologies, as well as experience with network hardware from major vendors like Cisco and Palo Alto.
• Knowledge of network security principles and firewall management is essential, along with familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, wireless networking technologies, and network automation and scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required, combined with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate attention to detail with strong organizational skills, and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
