Network Support Specialist

Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)

• Ability to handle phone calls from clients, have a good understanding of the IT issues the client is facing and provide good phone support
• Ability to reply emails and reply professionally
• Ability to read, understand customer email content
• Experience in conducting remote support sessions with the user (TeamViewer)
• Needs to know when to escalate issues to senior network engineers when it is beyond your scope
• Ability to learn new technologies fast and be involved in managing telephone VoIP and PBX phone systems (training provided)

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/ College Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Engineering
• Ability to communicate well in English orally and in writing
• Excellent organizational skills and flexible working capacity
• Basic networking knowledge is required
• Ability to troubleshoot basic end to end networking issues
• Ability to set up router and network switch
• CCNA (Switching and Routing) knowledge is an added Bonus
• Experience with Windows/ Mac operating Systems
• Able to install printers
• Ability to set up email accounts
• Experience with LINUX operating systems (command line) is an added bonus
