Operation Manager in Clothing/Apparel

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple retail branches. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, consistent store performance, and outstanding customer experience across all locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with a proven ability to lead teams, optimize operations, and drive results in a dynamic retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Leadership

• Supervise overall operations of all retail branches, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Lead, train, and motivate store staff to meet performance targets and deliver exceptional service.
• Cascade store goals, updates, and operational directives to branch teams.

Operational Management

• Oversee daily store functions including inventory, cash handling, and adherence to opening and closing protocols.
• Ensure all branches follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with mall administration on leasing and operational issues affecting store locations.
• Collaborate with HR on employee-related incidents and staffing requirements.

Customer Service Oversight

• Promote a customer-first culture within all branches.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns, coordinating with the Customer Service team as needed.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and submit reports on sales performance, staff productivity, and operational issues.
• Maintain updated records on staffing schedules, performance reviews, and training milestones.
• Ensure availability and functionality of store assets including POS systems, internet, CCTV, and other security tools.
• Oversee daily merchandise deliveries and coordinate with Sales Associates for proper product flow.

Scheduling and Time Management

• Create and manage shift schedules to match operational demands and business peaks.
• Approve shift changes, handle time-off requests, and ensure proper staffing coverage.
• Monitor punctuality and ensure timely branch openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in retail operations management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with retail POS and operational systems is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
