Role Overview
The Central Operations Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to a centralized support team, campus staff, and volunteer teams across multiple locations. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication, accurate data management, and timely project coordination.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, service-minded, and dependable—someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support teams and improve overall efficiency. This position works closely with leaders and volunteers and plays a key role in supporting ministry effectiveness through systems, processes, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and tactical support to staff and volunteer teams to enhance overall effectiveness
- Virtually support team members across multiple campuses with training, communication, and administrative needs
- Manage and administer organization-adopted systems and tools, including:
- Planning Center Online
- Clearstream Texting
- Mailchimp
- Dropbox
- Google Workspace (G-Suite)
- Coordinate tasks and projects using platforms such as Trello or Asana
- Manage shared email inboxes, respond to inquiries, and create service tickets as needed
- Create, update, and maintain reports, lists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Organize and manage cloud-based files, digital assets, and video content (e.g., YouTube uploads)
- Maintain and update CRM data, including guest and membership records, with proper tagging and organization
- Prepare and distribute weekly Flash Reports to designated teams
- Support Central Team Leaders with additional administrative and operational needs as assigned
Qualifications

- Strong written communication skills with professional email etiquette
- Adequate verbal communication skills to engage with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders
- Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and online tools
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-starter capable of working independently
- Prior nonprofit or administrative experience preferred, but not required
