Job Description - Orders and Accounting Specialist

Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with Sales teams for quoting and order processing
Responsible for reviewing quotes, contracts, and processing new and existing client purchases, and ensuring adherence to company policies
Assist Sales teams with complex contract requests
Various fiscal period close responsibilities
Interim and year-end financial audit support

Subsequent Billing and Contract Renewal

Responsible for preparing and sending out renewal letters and quotes
Responsible for generating invoices
Assist the commercial team with preparing renewal requests that may involve product changes and variable pricing
Maintain accurate recurring billing activity in NetSuite and associated subscription records in Salesforce

Skills and Qualifications

4+ years of order-to-cash or similar experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant degree
Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar quoting and price system
Salesforce, Zone Billing and NetSuite experience are a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service skills and time management for urgent requests by email, Slack, or Teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Serve as a business partner for the Account Management, Commercial Sales, and Technical Services teams to build relationships and expedite resolution of client inquiries
