About the Opportunity
We are looking for reliable, motivated, and hardworking team member to join our Freight Team!

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Organize common shipments via ground or courier service, including the compilation of necessary documentation and daily tracking.
- Complete any data entry duties
- Create and coordinates the setup of shipments and documentation
- Track and trace packages, as well as notifying the Team Lead of any concerns or problems

- Assist in providing quotes to customers on their shipping and customs needs

- Work with internal staff to ensure that all information in the system is correct and up to date, so that customers can rely on it

- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that everything runs well

About You

- Freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and/or logistic experience
- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills
- Experience with MS Word/word processing, MS Excel/spreadsheets, Windows, e-mail and various PC based software
- Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy
- Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill
- Fluent English both written and conversational
- Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Cargowise knowledge/experience is an asset

- Experience in the Canadian/US FTL & LTL Trucking industry is an asset
