What You’ll Do   As a Packing Engineer Contractor you will work closely with our manufacturing partners to develop and implement cost-effective and sustainable packaging solutions for our lighting products. This role focuses on analyzing and reducing packaging costs while maintaining quality, functionality, and compliance with environmental standards.   Key Responsibilities:   Analyze existing packaging designs and processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.   Collaborate with manufacturers to design and develop optimized packaging solutions.   Evaluate materials, structural designs, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.   Conduct testing and validation of new packaging designs to meet performance and safety standards.   Provide technical expertise and recommendations to address packaging-related challenges.   Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards for packaging.   Prepare detailed reports and documentation on cost savings, material selections, and packaging designs.   Liaise directly with manufacturing teams in Xiamen to oversee implementation and improvements.   Qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.   Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in packaging design, cost analysis, or engineering, preferably in the lighting or electronics industry.   Proven experience working with manufacturers preferably in Xiamen, China or nearby regions.   Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and testing standards.   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.   Proficiency in CAD software and packaging design tools is a plus.   Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cultures.   Proficiency in English is Mandatory.   Availability to work in Pacific Timezone.
