We at Brainbox are looking for a Patient Experience Officer who will act as the key point of contact for patients, clinical directors, practice managers, and stakeholders, and perform a variety of customer support tasks in a clinic based in Australia. You will be supporting scheduling, ensuring efficient workflow, and contributing to a well-organised and patient-friendly environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Pharmacy, or any relevant degree in the medical field
Up to 3 years of experience in nursing/pharmacy or a relevant role
Has a high degree of experience in dealing directly with patients
Experience in roles requiring a personable, sensitive, and genuine approach to patient relations
Has a strong understanding and grasp of medical terminology and translates these to the uninitiated
Previous experience in practice administration will be highly regarded
Skilled in customer service and health care management
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and practitioners via phone, email, and chat
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and update information as needed
Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
Work closely with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
Other duties as necessary or as allocated by the clinical director from time to time
Certifications
Relevant nursing/pharmacy/medical certification is highly regarded
