Job Description - Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

A pharmaceutical sales representative is responsible for promoting and selling variouspharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as medical doctors, pharmacists, andhospitals. The representative will be responsible for managing their territory and meeting salestargets while maintaining customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service toensure retention.Duties and Responsibilities:• Demonstrates knowledge in the segment of hospital-based products.• Takes ownership and demonstrates the ability to drive monthly sales results throughsuperior selling skills.• Above average interpersonal, platform, and written communication skills.• Proven ability to observe and identify market opportunities and challenges andsubsequently develop, plan, implement, and follow through with action plans to positivelyinfluence opportunities and challenges.• Develop and maintain superior relationships with key decision makers and influencerswithin physician offices.• Must pose the ability to work effectively in a team environment, while observing positive,open communication and collaboration with co-workers and counterparts.• Completes all administrative duties in a timely fashion and works within the specifiedbudget.• Consistently executes all field sales activities with a high degree of professionalism inaccordance with established promotional guidelines.• Other functions that the management may assign from time to time that is essential to theoverall business of the companyJOB SPECIFICATION:• College degree preferably in any allied medical courses, business allied courses orequivalent• Fresh college graduates with an excellent track record of accomplishments areencouraged to apply• At least 1-year successful sales and marketing experience gained from reputablepharmaceutical company (preferably on hospital based injectable products)• Proven successful sales track record, excellent communication skills and ability toexecute a sales and marketing plan• Continually possess the ability to manage a territory budget and function in a fast-paced emerging company environment• With pleasing personality• Must be self-driven and results oriented• Can work with minimum supervision• Preferably A resident of the area applying for
