Phlebotomy Team Leader

About the job: Phlebotomy Team Leader (Laguna) | Hybrid

Work Setup: Mon-Tues Makati Head Office; Wed-Fri WFH

Work schedule: 8am - 5pm

The Phlebotomy Team Leader is responsible for the administrative supervision and operational oversight of all phlebotomy staff. This role ensures the consistent delivery of safe, accurate, and patient-centered specimen collection services across all hospital areas. The team leader coordinates schedules, manages performance, ensures compliance with regulatory standards (DOH, ISO 15189, JCI), and fosters a culture of quality and service within the Phlebotomy Unit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, nursing, or another health-related discipline.
• Licensed Medical Technologist (PRC) or relevant certification
• Certifications (Preferred): Training in Leadership, Team Supervision, or Healthcare Management; Certification in ISO 15189, Quality Management, or Phlebotomy Training
• Coordination is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in phlebotomy or clinical laboratory services.
• At least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills
• Knowledge of clinical standards for specimen collection and laboratory quality Systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools and documentation systems
• Organized, proactive, and capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced environment
