Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
Strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer overseeing the full finance agenda of a complex, multi-entity hospitality and real estate platform. Trusted financial partner to the Founder/CEO, with enterprise accountability for cash flow, liquidity, forecasting, governance, and financial risk. Leads capital stewardship, financial controls, and external stakeholder relationships while remaining operationally grounded. Builder-minded executive who designs scalable financial systems, processes, and discipline to enable sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
8–10+ years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to real estate and/or hospitality (real estate is more critical)
Strong background in financial oversight, forecasting, liquidity management, and inter-entity transactions
Demonstrated ability to be hands-on (willing to do the actual work, not purely delegate)
Experience in startup, growth-stage, or fast-scaling environments preferred
Ability to think strategically and long-term, while also maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Strong understanding of systems, controls, and financial processes
Open-minded, collaborative, and able to work well in a casual, humor-friendly team culture
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the finance function across multiple entities (approximately 20+ entities, with primary focus on 4 core operating entities)
Manage and review work performed by outsourced accounting partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Validate and challenge financial forecasts, budgets, and assumptions prepared internally or by external partners
Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, and inter-company transfers across entities
Ensure accurate financial reporting and proper financial controls across all entities
Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to support growth
Manage and collaborate with the finance team, including the Finance Manager, bookkeeper (PH-based), and office manager (US-based)
Remain hands-on with financial work; this is not a purely delegative or advisory role
Support strategic and long-term financial planning while balancing day-to-day operational finance needs
Ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations, including oversight of payments, reconciliations, and financial activities handled by the team
