To facilitate sound planning as it relates to Physical Facilities needs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provides customer service to Area Presidency, DTA, Area Physical Facilities Manager, and other leaders as required. Coordinates and forecasts, budgets to purchase future sites, construction or new meetinghouses. Educate and influence positively Mission, Stake, and District Presidents as to the current Physical Facilities policy and decisions. This is a people manager position.
This position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can work, worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances.
Helps create and analyze future Physical Facilities needs in the Area. In cooperation with the Area Physical Facilities Manager, creates annual plans, budgets and schedules which include operating budgets.
Leads stake meetings with ecclesiastical leaders to develop and validate planning decisions and communicates planning decisions and sensitive information to obtain their support, concurrence and cooperation. Participates with Area Managers to develop and validate planning decisions and review performance according to quality, cost, and timeliness trends.
Summarizes and analyzes forecasting of future Physical Facilities needs.
Regularly manages the work of other employees (may include mixed workforce).
Responsible, in partnership with HR, to hire or fire employees and recommends advancement, promotion or any other change of status of employees within their reporting line.
