Job Summary:

Manages investment portfolios by prudently deploying funds in accordance with client investment policies, ensuring asset allocations align with strategic and tactical market objectives. Develops and executes fixed income and equity investment strategies through macroeconomic analysis, portfolio construction, security selection, and disciplined risk management to achieve portfolio goals and outperform benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitors global and local economic, market, and industry developments, assessing their impact on managed portfolios and investment strategies.


• Evaluates investment opportunities and securities, providing recommendations to the Investment Committee and Trust Committee to support informed decision-making.


• Serves as a resource person during client fund performance reviews and internal market updates, delivering insights on portfolio performance and market conditions.


• Conducts regular portfolio reviews using appropriate performance metrics to ensure alignment with investment objectives, mandates, and risk parameters.


• Ensures timely and accurate booking and recording of investment transactions within the trust system and other relevant platforms.


• Performs other related duties and responsibilities necessary to achieve portfolio goals and support the overall objectives of the Trust Banking Group (TBG).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder in Finance, Economics or related course. Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA) or CFA holder is an advantage.


• At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing portfolios, asset management, investment management or treasury including fixed income, equities, money market instruments in banking or investment firm.


• Experience in conducting economic and market research, investment analysis, and investment recommendation presentations to senior management and investment committees.


• Experience to client-facing discussions, portfolio reviews and fund performance presentations.


• Knowledgeable of BSP, SEC, and Trust Banking regulations applicable to investment and portfolio management activities.
