Potable Water Engineer
The Contractor shall provide a Potable Water Engineer who shall be
responsible for ensuring all Potable Water produced under this Contract
complies with all Contract guidelines and standards for Potable Water
including but not limited to Chapter 3, Drinking Water, of the DoD 4715.5-G,
OEBGD and the Philippines National Standard for Drinking Water (PNSDW;
2007 or latest).
The Potable Water Engineer shall have five (5) years of experience in water
treatment plant design and construction, water treatment processes,
implementation and compliance of U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act and
OEBGD criteria, and providing water operator training. The Potable Water
Engineer shall be a U.S. licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and at least have
a Grade IV Water Operator license. The Potable Water Engineer shall have a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Industrial, Environmental or Mechanical
Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, or other related engineering
and scientific fields, based on a four year course of study from a U.S. or
equivalent accredited college or university or equivalent institution.
