Job Description - Power Apps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Power Apps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain business-critical applications using Microsoft Power Platform-including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

This is a remote position for candidates based in the Philippines who have excellent English communication skills and a reliable internet connection. You’ll collaborate daily with our U.S.-based team and play a key role in delivering intuitive, scalable, and secure business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain canvas and model-driven Power Apps
Design and automate workflows using Power Automate
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data sources
Ensure performance, security, and governance best practices are followed
Collaborate with analysts, developers, and U.S.-based stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into working solutions
Document system designs, workflows, and key components
Support deployed apps, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews in an agile environment

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Azure services
Familiarity with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) and custom connectors is a plus
Optional but preferred: Experience with .NET and C# for backend integrations, Azure Functions, or custom APIs
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Reliable high-speed internet connection and ability to collaborate remotely
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
