Power BI Data Developer / Analyst – Manila (Hybrid, Onsite Interview Required)

About the Role

We are looking for a Power BI Data Developer/Analyst to join our Manila team, supporting a fast-growing automotive-focused environment in partnership with Australian Company. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design data models, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions that support decision-making.

This role follows Perth working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and requires onsite interviews as part of the hiring process.

Role Requirements

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL, Azure, or modern data warehousing environments

• Strong preference for candidates with a Microsoft-centric technical background

• Understanding of how Microsoft ingests, transforms, and manages data across platforms

• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid Manila setup and collaborate with global teams

• Comfortable working Perth hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Willing to attend onsite interview (incentives provided to reduce candidate fallout)

• Interest in the automotive industry; candidates are encouraged to indicate if they are car lovers or want to grow in the automotive space

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for business performance monitoring

• Perform ETL processes using SQL, Power Query, and Azure/Microsoft Fabric tools

• Design and implement scalable data models and advanced DAX calculations

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security (including row-level security)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights

• Monitor and troubleshoot report performance

• Import, cleanse, and transform data within a modern Microsoft Fabric/Azure environment

• Review and validate reports with stakeholders

• Prepare and present insights clearly with actionable outcomes

• Apply governance standards including documentation, security, and user training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

• 4+ years experience in Power BI, analytics, or BI development roles

• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Report Builder, SSRS, DAX, SQL, Power Query

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, SharePoint (preferred)

• Microsoft certifications (plus)

• Strong UI/dashboard design skills

• Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Advanced Excel knowledge; Python or R is a plus

• Solid understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
