OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Junior Account Manager, you will work closely and collaboratively with your team to pitch, manage, and execute client campaigns—whether in digital, social, PR, integrated marketing, and/or influencer engagement—to support the growth of Vero’s business development activities and client portfolio expansion and retention in the Philippines.
YOUR WORK AT VERO
Client Service
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the accounts you oversee, serving as the first point of contact for client management, providing the highest level of client service, and working closely with them to ensure that all client needs are met.
- Attend meetings and required virtual or in-person interfaces with your clients, including management and immediate response to their inquiries via group chats and/or emails.
- Be on top of staying up to date with your accounts' activities, ensuring work is aligned with your clients’ communications goals and business objectives and in conjunct with industry and global trends and practices.
- Ensure promptness and efficiency in providing counsel and support in the oversight and delivery of the scope of work for your accounts / clients.
- Proactively liaise with your clients’ points-of-contact to ensure they receive the best possible guidance and support from you, your team, and the bigger Vero team.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, working towards overall satisfaction that will foster trust and confidence in the agency's abilities.
- Actively seek out opportunities to add value to client relationships by identifying potential areas for growth or improvement.
- Regularly review account performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to the client service lead and the account team.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients, ensuring that all data is relevant, insightful, and presented in a clear and concise manner.
Account Management.
- Work collaboratively with your team to fulfill client KPIs and metrics.
- Coordinate with other specialist teams such as the Creatives, Media, and Strategy units, as needed, to deliver up-to-par and excellent business results for your clients and the agency.
- Collaborate with support teams and actively participate in communications initiatives for your clients.
- Provide creative solutions to address the clients’ challenges and issues, and adapt to various emerging marketing, communications, and PR practices, technology, and tools geared towards improvement and development of the team and your clients’ business.
- Develop effective campaign plans and coordinate client activities based on the scope of work.
- Analyze results of the campaign efforts, including monitoring and reporting of the campaign’s progress.
- Manage clients on matters relative to investments and including those requiring decision-making.
- Accurately assess that all deliverables within the scope of work are completed on schedule and to the client's satisfaction, ensuring the work is of excellent quality.
- Build strong relationships and networks with key influencers, media, and suppliers.
Support in Business Development and Leads Generation
- Work collaboratively with your director and the strategy team on new business pitches and creation of proposals.
- Draft cost estimates based on the prescribed scopes of work for existing clients and new leads.
- Support your team lead during interfaces with new leads, including but not limited to creation of credentials deck, presentation of company profile, and creation of case studies.
- Collaborate with support teams and actively participate in communications initiatives and pitches for new leads and business prospects.
- Support in opportunities that will expand your current network and reinforce Vero’s thought leadership in the industry and in the market.
Criteria:
- You have at least four years of working experience in a communications-related field, managing multiple accounts. PR agency experience a plus.
- You have at least two years of experience directly managing and addressing concerns from C-Suite executives and senior leaders of organizations and corporations.
- You have experience providing counsel to brands and organizations related to public relations, digital communication, events management, integrated marketing, or brand strategy.
- You have hands-on experience in developing and strategizing campaigns, pitching and creating proposals, and campaign and/or project execution and implementation. You are analytical and strategic, with foundations in monitoring, reporting, and insight development.
- You are skilled at performance optimization, having the ability to identify, interpret, and use digital, social, and other data-driven marketing tools and analytics.
- You believe efficient communication is sparked by positive conversations.
- You trust that creativity and empathy are at the heart of great communication strategies.
- You have good English speaking and writing skills and you are comfortable working in a young, multicultural environment.
- You are highly organized, curious, and creative, so your friends often rely on you to organize crazy parties/activities.
