Full job descriptionOverview:To be successful as a Pre Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's enterprise IT solutions and services and should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.Duties & Responsibilities:● Attend meetings and act as technical expert of the assigned solution/technology.● Conduct presentation of the assigned solution/technology to customers (internal and external).● Work closely with the customer to understand and size requirement (scoping) and recommend a solution or integrated solutions that will address the customer’s requirement.● Build business cases to support a project justification or a business direction.● Present proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.● Deliver the product demo to individual customers, answer the technical questions in a customer RFP or Bid, and explain technical details to the technical buyers.● Conduct Proof-of-Concept exercise● Discuss the project scope and participate in QA activity during pre-sales stage of sales cycle.● Conduct a handover to the implementation team immediately upon receipt of customer purchase confirmation or securing a project.● Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation.Qualifications:● Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent.● Strong customer service orientation.● 2 years or more years of industry experience in sales engineering or consulting● Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills● Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities● Positive, service-oriented personality● Willingness to travel
