Job Overview
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with different suppliers, departments, and/or 3rd party vendors. This position will ensure the quality of goods supplied that meet our needs and stay up to date with the latest market trends to improve the cost of goods.
Job Description
Manage relationships with suppliers
Contact vendors to gather quotations for purchases of supplies
Support in improving and delivering against the long-term procurement strategy.
Coordinate with suppliers to address and improve performance concerns and ensure that all service level agreements are met.
Review different information to assess root causes, and improvement opportunities, and eliminate risks.
Ensure timely and effective completion of projects in the supply chain department.
Coordinate with different departments for continuous improvement efforts to improve the cost of goods.
Communicate with vendors to solicit bids for purchases of supplies and equipment.
Coordinate with different departments to resolve supplier performance issues.
Review suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Monitor and Process PO change orders or updates for shipping/fees as needed.
