Procurement Department Head

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages process and procedures to supply and demand based procurement models.

2. Ensures the compliance on system controls, policies, procedures relating to procurement.

3. Manages key financial indicators of department operations.

4. Resolves critical operational issues.

5. Develops the potential of team members to maximize their productivity.

6. Ensures proper execution of Vendor Management System for both local and imported products

(sourcing, quotations, bidding, and awarding process) for sub-contractors and suppliers.

7. Collaborates with internal customers to ensure timeliness, quality, accuracy and completeness

of products and services.

8. Ensures timely, quality, accurate and complete procurement reports.

9. Ensures compliance to company health, safety and environmental standards.

10. Maintains organized files and related documents.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related fields.

2. At least Ten (10) years in Procurement or supply chain; five (5) yearsin a Managerial/Supervisor

capacity preferably in the construction industry.

3. Extensive knowledge in using SAP System.

4. Possesses strategic mind set with regards to decision making, driving for results and

relationship building.

5. Able to perform productively while under pressure.

6. Extremely strong interpersonal skills to communicate change, motivating employees and

getting leadership buy-in.
