Role Overview

The Controllership Director for Procurementwill be responsible for the overall Procurement function, leading the team to efficiently and effectively meet the business requirements of the company. Adherence to company policies and controls, embracing the mindset of continuous improvement and best practice sharing while investing in personal development are also expected for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.

Lead initiatives/ process improvements to continually drive performance and business results

Develop and maintain Procurement policies and procedures and ensure compliance to company policies.

Maintain strong business relationships with vendors to assure cost, quality and delivery targets are met.

Establish and monitor procurement key metrics and KPIs

Lead and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

Perform tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

External - vendors (both local and global)

Skills

Excellent communication skills in dealing with external and internal stakeholders

Strong organizational and decision making skills

Extensive knowledge of procurement processes

Proficiency in Procurement software and tools

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in Procurement

Educational and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
