Product Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for guiding the success of a product and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving it. Oversees the planning and execution stages throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with end users and respective technical teams to ensure business objectives and goals are met.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow product’s capabilities, improve customer experience and drive adoption and usage of product
  
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  
• Translate product roadmap into detailed requirements and prototypes
  
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  
• Manage the roadmap, prioritize product opportunities, refine feature ideas and maintain existing features to drive business goals.
  
• Work with technical team to maintain and update existing features
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information management or equivalent
  
• One or more of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner / Agile Certified Practitioner - PMI-ACP
  
• 3+ years of relevant experience
  
• Proven track record of working with developers and various stake holders to coordinate, plan, execute and track product releases from beginning to end. 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  
• Outstanding project and time management skills 
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one sleeves to get the job done 
  
• Outstanding ability to analyze, isolate and interpret business need into detailed requirements
  
• Strong understanding of all aspect of the systems/ software development lifecycle 
  
• familiarity with agile software development methodologies 
  
• Demonstrate a can do attitude and willingness to learn and work as a team 
  
• Certified Scrum Product Owner 
  
• Agile certified practitioner
