Job Description - Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you will improve customer experiences, generate new product ideas, and outline detailed product strategies, among other duties.



Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • In collaboration with other concerned units, ensures effective formulation and implementation of product management strategies for assigned products and services
  • Continuously identifies and monitors business opportunities for products and services
  • Develops immediate and long term competitive strategies andensures the Company’s competitive edge
  • Manages product performance (P&L) and collaborates with other concerned units the enhancementof existing and developmentof new products and services to meet the changing market needs
  • Formulates and monitors tactical marketing programs for the acquisition of subscribers from competition
  • Develops and launches sales acquisition events to meet volume targets set per area
  • Directly collaborates with the sales teams to gather intelligence on product performance, customer and dealer/reseller attitudes and new opportunities
  • Ensures that targets are met within the specified budget limits
  • Performs other duties which may be assigned from time to time
Functional Relationships Internal:Sales, Pre-Sales and Technical Team

External:Vendors, resellers, end users



Requirements: Q ualifications:
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in ECE, IT, or any computer related course; Marketing or a business course
  • With three (3) experience in telco software, VAS and telephony/broadband-related companies
Specific skills & abilities:
  • In-depth understanding of: Product management, CustomerManagement, Marketing, Performance Metrics & Evaluation, Innovation, ProjectManagement and FinancialManagement
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Professional and customer-focused
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable and open to change

  • Hardworking, resourceful, and proactive with a sense of urgency
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
