Job Description - Product Marketing Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to support product positioning and messaging. 

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Assist in developing clear and compelling product messaging that aligns with customer pain points and industry trends. 

  • Content Development: Create product-related content, including blog posts, case studies, product brochures, website copy, and email campaigns. 

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to support the sales team. 

  • Campaign Execution: Support the planning and execution of product marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, social media, and webinars. 

  • Customer Insights & Feedback: Gather customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and engagement data to help refine product marketing strategies. 

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product management, sales, and demand generation teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics related to product marketing initiatives and provide actionable insights.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Education



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.


Minimum Experience/Training 



  • At least 1-3 years experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or a related role (IT or software industry experience preferred).

  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging content.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing. 

  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies. 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Competency



  • Experience in B2B marketing within the IT industry.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise software.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for marketing materials.
