Product Officer - Ideation & Design for VAS

The Ideation and Design Product Officer for Value Added Services (VAS) is responsible for defining and screening new value-added services and cross-selling services offered to MaxiLife’s Clients. Moreover, this position involves developing strategies aimed at improving product offerings through Value-Added Services.

Responsibilities:

• Enhances, implements, maintains, and boosts sales results of additional products and services in a way that earns recognition from customers.
• Improves customer interaction and secure increased profitability for the value-added services.
• Assists in enhancing awareness of insurance, health, and protection within the market.
• Oversees product development initiatives involving new and redesigned VAS programs aligned with MaxiLife's strategic plan.
• Conducts an evaluation and analysis of the latest market trends, potential product avenues, and competitor strategies to aid the product development team in making informed decisions regarding the product development strategy.
• Plans and executes market research initiatives and surveys to assess the practicality and potential of VAS concepts. This helps maintain an ongoing understanding of market dynamics and gauge customer sentiments towards existing services as well as new VAS offerings.
• Identifies and establishes arrangements for VAS offerings, taking into account distribution channels, reinsurance support, partnerships, or promotional collaborations.
• Works collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization, such as Actuarial, Operations, Transformation and Technology, Risk Management, and other committees, to ensure the successful implementation of value-added services.
• Prepares and finalizes the comprehensive design and strategic alignment of the company's VAS offerings.
• Supervises the development of contracts, forms, and other necessary documentation for regulatory submissions and approvals related to VAS offerings, when applicable.
• Guarantees that the VAS offerings adhere to both internal and external policies and regulations, ensuring overall compliance.
• Collects and securely maintains all documentation and approvals related to VAS.
• Undertakes any additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Marketing, Economics, and other relevant courses
• At least 3 years’ experience in life insurance or similar experience with key focus on Project Management or Product Development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Data analytics skills are welcome as well as previous leadership experience
