As a Professional Medical Representative, you will bring Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals across hospitals, private clinics and drugstores in your assigned areas – Endocrinology, Cardiology, Nephrology & Gastrology etc. Through credible, science-based conversations, you will help doctors, nurses and pharmacists choose the right treatment for their patients. Your work will grow market presence, contribute to the sales ambitions of NNPPI, and support people living with serious chronic diseases in your community.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who can build trust quickly and translate product knowledge into value for healthcare professionals. To succeed, you will bring:

• A minimum of 5 years of pharma sales experience


• A college degree, preferably in a science/marketing -related course.


• Strong selling skills, with the ability to promote products confidently to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals and public institutions.


• The ability to understand pharmaceutical products in depth and explain their features, benefits and applications clearly and honestly.


• Excellent verbal and written communication, with sound persuasion and influencing skills.


• Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.


• Good time management and organisational skills, with attention to detail across territory planning, administration and documentation.


• Analytical, problem-solving and adaptable, able to respond to changing market trends and customer needs.


• Uncompromising business ethics and adherence to local law, The Novo Way and Novo Nordisk policies.

Useful, but not essential:

• A background in pharmaceutical selling.

What you'll do

You will own the promotion and sales performance of your assigned area, turning market understanding into action every day. Your focus will be to:

• Promote and sell Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals and public institutions, using tailored presentations and clear product education.


• Develop and implement sales strategies, drawing on market research and customer insights to identify target markets and generate leads.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, nurses, pharmacists and key decision-makers through regular visits and relevant recommendations.


• Provide product education, run training sessions and stay current by attending medical conferences, seminars and workshops.


• Monitor market trends, healthcare policies and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.


• Achieve or exceed sales targets, track progress against goals, and grow market share by acting on market dynamics and customer needs.


• Bring innovation to your approach, using digital platforms and technologies to reach a wider audience and improve how you work.

Who you'll work with

You will join the Cardiometabolic Sales team within International Operations, working alongside fellow medical representatives who share best practices and support each other's success.

Your closest partners will be the healthcare professionals in your territory, along with marketing and medical support colleagues who help you deliver accurate, relevant information. Together, you seek clarity, act with urgency and combine expertise to improve outcomes for customers across your area.
