Job Description - Program Director (Work From Home)

Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. Responsible for leading project teams in delivering a solution to the client with overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities following the objectives and the goals of the organization
  • Develops new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Develops and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
  • Develops an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
  • Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement
  • Develops funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services

  • Ensures that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
  • Ensures that program activities comply with all relevant professional standards
  • Develops forms and records to document program activities
  • Oversees the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization
  • In consultation with the CTO, recruit, interview, and select well-qualified program team members
  • Implements the human resources policies, procedures, and practices of the organizations
  • Implements the performance management process for all program team members

  • Ensures all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training following organizational standards
  • Supervises program team members by providing direction, input, and feedback
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program
  • Liaises with other managers to ensure effective and efficient program delivery
  • Coordinates the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency

  • Prepares reports on the program for management and program sponsors
  • Communicates with program sponsors as needed
  • Ensures that the program operates within the approved budget
  • Monitors and approves all budgeted program expenditures
  • Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and takes appropriate action to control the risks
  • Monitors the program activities regularly and conducts an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework
  • Reports evaluation findings to the CTO and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate
  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Must be a college graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course, PMP Certification is preferred
  • At least 5 years experience managing Custom Software Development projects
  • At least 5 years experience in Agile and/or Project Management
  • At least 3 years experience in Service Delivery Management handling IT operations
  • Solutions Architect background is a plus
  • Strong Business Acumen - Proficient
  • IT Service Delivery - Proficient
  • IT Literacy around Applications and Systems - Intermediate
  • Operational/Delivery Excellence - Intermediate
  • SDLC and Application Support & Maintenance - Proficient
  • Financial Management – Intermediate
  • MS Office - Proficient
  • Risk Management Professional Certified (PMP)
  • Program Management Professional Certified (pgMP is a plus
  • Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
  • Must have strong project management skills in both technical and business capability
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must have solid relationship management and performance - management skills.
  • Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills, interpersonal Skills
  • Must have excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have passion for service improvement.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have attention to detail.
  • Must have exemplary Work Ethics
  • Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment with tight SLAs.
  • Working Setup: Work-from-Home until further notice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php250,000.00 - Php280,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary

Experience:

  • managing Custom Software Development projects: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Agile and/or Project Management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Service Delivery Management handling IT operations: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • PMI Certification (Preferred)
