Project Based- QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team in a project basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies, including both automated and manual testing approaches. This role requires expertise in test automation, continuous integration, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development and Maintenance Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality. Create robust and scalable automation frameworks that can adapt to evolving product requirements while reducing manual testing overhead.
• Regression Testing Management Execute thorough regression testing protocols to validate that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Develop and maintain regression test suites that provide confidence in software releases and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
• Continuous Integration Testing Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid feedback on code quality. Configure and maintain testing workflows that automatically execute upon code commits, ensuring immediate detection of integration issues and maintaining deployment readiness.
• Manual Testing Execution Perform comprehensive manual testing for complex scenarios, user experience validation, and exploratory testing that cannot be easily automated. Document test cases, execute test plans, and provide detailed defect reports with clear reproduction steps.
• Test Infrastructure Maintenance Maintain and optimize existing automation frameworks, test environments, and testing tools. Troubleshoot test failures, update test scripts for application changes, and ensure testing infrastructure remains reliable and efficient.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Jest, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
