Project Engineer - Davao Project

POSITION SUMMARY

THE POSITION REQUIRES THE SUPERVISION OF ARCHITECTURAL WORKS IN THE BUILDING.

PLANNING FUNCTION:

• Reviews plans and specifications. Prepares RFIs whenever necessary.
• Estimates forms, rebar, and concrete and prepares cutting list
• Prepares works schedules and updates during the duration of construction
• Plans construction methodology to implement structural works
• Coordinates with consultants/designers on issues confronting project execution
• Prepares manpower and equipment loading schedule
• Requisitions materials, manpower, and equipment needed for project implementation

PROJECT EXECUTION:

• Supervises layout, formworks, rebar works and concrete works of the structures
• Coordinates with other work disciplines, i.e. architectural, MEPFS, etc. in the implementation of plans and specifications
• Cooperates with QA/QC department on implementation of quality standards
• Performs required test procedures based on plan and specifications and standard industry practices.
• Monitors project accomplishment and submits report periodically.
• Attend field coordination meetings regularly
• Implements safety policies and procedures in the project site
• Conducts regular inspection in the field
• Implements policies and procedures governing the operation in the project

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

B.S in Civil Engineering or Architecture

WORK EXPERIENCE

AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

LOCATION

Must be willing to be assigned in Brgy. Talomo, Davao City, Davao Del Sur

Can start as soon as possible
