Project Execution Lead (project-based) page is loaded
1. Executes the implementation of a cost-efficient work program for the Project while managing risks to a minimum level of consequence and probability of occurrence.
2. Cascades the directions and objectives set by the Group Head and PEM Head to the Project Engineers for the preparation of detailed strategies and action plans for the planning horizon.
3. Leads in determining the Project Specifications and facilitates the development of project plans that include schedule, cost, risk, quality, and communications amongst others.
4. Reviews the project plan and documents for execution covering work orders, engineering plans, contract agreements, resources, budgets and permits.
5. Reviews contractors' methodology and execution plan to ensure it is fit for purpose and referenced to industry standards and best practices.
6. Lead project implementation and identify potential long lead or potential cost escalation items and provide guidance for measures and strategy to minimize impact on cost, time and business opportunity.
7. Identifies a list of technical risks for the project and provides guidance and direction in the development and implementation of a risk response plan ensuring that identified risks as well as risks encountered are mitigated and are properly communicated to the stakeholders.
8. Ensures that operational risk management best practices in place are appropriate, operating effectively, and consistent with the policies, legal and contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
9. Determines project parameters, comparing results with the original plan and/or industry standards, to determine what aspects are working and what needs to be improved and drive the implementation of the recovery plans.
10. Regularly assesses and evaluates applicability and effectiveness of the project strategies against target metrics and recommends recovery plans based on emerging issues and changing operating conditions.
11. Ensures all documentation requirements for the projects are properly managed.
12. Monitors performance of Project Engineers to ensure conformance to policies, procedures and guidelines, and implements necessary action in the event of non-conformance.
13. Executes health, security, environmental and safety rules and regulations of the company;
14. Practices recommended behaviors that adhere to the core values of the company;
15. Implements and complies with company rules and policies; and
16. Performs other related duties that may be assigned (by superiors) from time to time.
