Project Nurse - Zamboanga Project

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Nurse is responsible in managing the site clinic, performs the basic first-aid and promoting the health and wellness of the workers and employees in the workplace.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS

• Conducts screenings and assessments for all project personnel prior deployment.

• Assess, take vital signs and take history of employees health;
• Dispense medicine for employees with health illness;
• Provide first aid treatment to sick or injured personnel;
• Brings and assist injured personnel at the hospital and regularly reports its condition to all concerned;
• Assist in emergency response team for the project site.
• Attend to daily consultations of workers and employees.
• Check medicines, medical equipment and supplies. Request for restocking if necessary.
• Refer sick or injured employees to health care facility if necessary.
• Provide health teaching, health counselling & health training for all employees
• Monitor the health status of project site personnel particularly those with APE findings;

• Reviews and summarizes health related reports

• Promote and encourage healthy lifestyle to workers and employees
• Prepares and submit all DOLE mandatory reports;
• Conducts regular health and sanitation inspection at project site to ensure the health and safety of personnel;
• Promoting employees productivity by developing and implementing health & wellness policies & program.
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of health teaching and provide actions for improvement if necessary;
• Documentation of all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace
• Documentation of medical records.
• Assist the Project Admin Officers during facilitation of Annual Physical Examination at project sites;
• Prepares and submit regular reports to Lead Nurse or EHS Dept. Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse
• Experience in construction is a plus
• OHNAP Certification
• Basic Life Support Training
• Willing to be assigned in Zamboanga City Project site (Zambowood)
• Can start asap.
