Purchasing Assistant

FILINVEST COMPANY: Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Manila (CFCM)

He/She is responsible for ensuring the timely,cost-effective, and efficient procurement of the hotel's requirements. This includes sourcing and acquiring materials, supplies, equipment, tools, chemicals, and other essential items while maintaining the highest standards of quality and quantity. The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, and compliance with procurement best practices to support the hotel's operational excellence. 

• Receives and reviews all Purchase Requisition (PR) and ensure that prompt actions are given to all purchase requests. 
• Provides feedback to Purchasing Manager and requisitioning department on market conditions, product availability, price trends and any pertinent information on requisitioned products.
• Obtains price quotations at all time. 
• Maintains and controls purchasing like, documentes catalogues, directions, magazines, prize bulletins and other. 
• Ensures that prices are competitive by obtaining three (3) or more bids from suppliers. 
• Updates price quoatations at all times
• Monitors suppliers reliability and dependability, and establishes contacts with prospective from suppliers. 
• Inspect and verifies the following goods received and ensures that these conforms to purchase specifications. 
• Monitors items delivered on staggered basis to ensure complete delivery
• Prepare report for undelivered item and submit to Purchasing Manager
• Perform other duties as directed by the Management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors / College degree in Marketing or any Business Course
• Atleast 3 years work experience in a large hotel chain or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skill
• Can start immediately
• Amenable to work onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa
