QA Automation Engineer Merchant Billing

The Merchant Billing team responsible for settlements with merchants and for managing incentive performance-based programs. We build and maintain services that calculate and prepare payout data in accordance with business rules, ensuring stable and consistent operation of settlement and incentive workflows across integrated services.

What you'll work on

• End-to-end billing flows and integrations across Merchant Billing services

• Manual and automated testing of new functionality and regression scenarios

• Data consistency validation and integration testing across business-critical transactional flows

What you'll be responsible for

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases for Merchant Billing services and flows

• Build, maintain, and expand automated test coverage for critical billing scenarios

• Validate integrations, data consistency, and end-to-end billing flows

• Analyze test results, logs, and system behavior to identify defects and support investigations

• Work closely with Developers to improve test automation tools and environments

• Contribute to the test strategy and help improve overall QA practices

• Report testing status, risks, and quality issues clearly to the team

What we need

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or a similar role

• Strong experience in API testing (manual and automated) using Java or Kotlin

• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites

• Background in testing financial systems — billing, payments, or other transactional products

• Good understanding of integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

• Ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and describe issues clearly and precisely

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
