Job Description - Quality Advisor


Responsibilities





    Role Overview: As a Quality Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our operations for our New Zealand business. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and driving initiatives that improve customer outcomes. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can seamlessly collaborate with both the Manila-based and New Zealand teams to uphold our reputation for excellence in the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities:

    1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) aligned with New Zealand’s regulatory and industry requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards.

  • Identify and address quality gaps, developing corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).

    2. Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current workflows and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in operations.

  • Collaborate with the New Zealand team to implement and monitor process improvements.

  • Use data-driven insights to assess the success of quality initiatives and recommend adjustments where needed.

    3. Training and Support:

  • Design and deliver training sessions to the Manila team, ensuring understanding of New Zealand-specific quality standards and practices.

  • Provide ongoing coaching to enhance performance and quality awareness across teams.

    4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with the New Zealand team to address quality-related customer feedback and concerns.

  • Ensure timely and professional resolution of quality issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.

    5. Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and trends, presenting findings to New Zealand management.

  • Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders across both locations.

    6. Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments focused on potential quality issues and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Stay updated on New Zealand regulatory changes and ensure all operations comply with these standards.




Requirements





    About You: To excel in this role, you will bring:
  • A relevant degree or qualification in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a quality-focused role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Familiarity with New Zealand insurance regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-border teams.

  • Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to managing tasks and challenges.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.




Work Arrangement




  • Work Setup: On-site

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 am flexi start time, should complete nine (9) hours work, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
