About the Role As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our e-commerce websites provide an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with our software engineering team to ensure that all features and functionality are thoroughly tested and meet our high standards of quality. You will have the opportunity to learn about the entire software development lifecycle and contribute to the success of our digital platforms. You'll be exposed to industry best practices from our team of engineers who've worked at companies such as Google, Lyft, First Circle, and Edamama.
What you'll do:

• Collaborate with our development team to identify and document bugs and issues in our e-commerce websites.
• Develop and execute test plans for new and existing features to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated testing scripts to improve the efficiency of our testing processes.
• Perform manual testing on websites and applications across multiple browsers and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress to the development team and other stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to our testing processes and workflows to enhance the quality of our websites.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Coding fundamentals - knowledge of basic algorithms and data structures and a strong command of at least one programming language.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Nice-to-haves. The more of these you have the better, but none are required.

• Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript.
• Experience with a website builder like Wordpress, Wix or Squarespace.
• Experience building web pages or web applications for school or side projects.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
