Quality Engineer

We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe QA NPI Engineer ensures that new products are introduced into manufacturing with robust quality controls, validated processes, and compliant documentation. This role partners closely with NPI Engineers, R\u0026D, Process Engineering, Production, and Suppliers to secure a smooth and efficient product launch (PRO-Launch).\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead quality activities during New Product Introduction (NPI).\n * Conduct product and process qualification (FAI, validation, sample builds).\n * Review and approve Control Plans, PFMEA, SOPs, BOM\u2019s and quality requirements.\n * Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and coordinate sample builds\n * Support line readiness, pilot builds, and early mass production quality monitoring.\n * Identify critical process parameters and ensure proper monitoring/controls.\n * Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions (8D, 5 Why).\n * Ensure NPI products comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.\n * Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.\n * Communicate quality risks and project status to stakeholders\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or related field.\n * Experience in QA, NPI, manufacturing, or process engineering.\n * Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, CA/PA, PPAP, APQP).\n * Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.\n\n\n\nAt Eaton, we don\u2019t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
