Quality Engineer (Python-Playwright)

The Quality Engineer at Octal Philippines Inc. will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases using Python and Playwright for automation testing. Your collaboration with development teams will be crucial in identifying defects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through effective testing strategies.

·        Experienced in both Agile and Waterfall software development method

·        Experienced in testing both Web and Mobile applications

·        Able to create Web Test Automation scripts using Python-Playwright

·        Able to create mobile Test Automation scripts

·        Pro-active. Versatile. Fast learner. Ability to quickly grasp Tools, Requirements, and

·        Expected results (Acceptance Criteria)

·        Can do both manual and automation testing

·        Good time management skills

·        Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include:

·        Collects and organizes information required for preparation of Test Plans and Test

·        Cases/Scripts.

·        Prepares Test Cases which are used for system and user acceptance testing.

·        Conducts functional, usability, regression, stress and full cycle testing of software

·        applications/products.

·        Monitors and coordinates bug tracking activities with the Software Engineers

·        Coordinates with the Agile Delivery Manager, Business Analyst, and Technical Manager

·        to ensure that all development deliverables have passed the Quality Assurance and

·        Control standards.
