Qualifications:
Professional Mechanical Engineer
8-10 years of experience as an Engineering Head/Manager
Preferably with experience in Food Manufacturing or similar industries
Experience in managing multiple sites
Excellent planning, leadership, and project management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Provide strategic direction for the manufacturing engineering group.
Ensure alignment of practices and processes across multiple plants.
Program Development:
Develop strategic programs and engineering activities to support plant operations.
Oversee the implementation of plans and programs for manufacturing engineering.
Compliance and Standards:
Conduct plant visits to ensure compliance with technical regulations and engineering standards.
Evaluate business needs for process standardization.
Reporting and Presentation:
Prepare and present manufacturing engineering updates and reports to senior management.
Review, evaluate, and approve project plans from Plant Engineers and Cadet Engineers.
Collaboration:
Work with the Design and Construction Manager on renovations or facility improvements.
Oversee and approve budget allocations for manufacturing engineering projects.
Project Oversight:
Ensure timely completion and execution of approved projects and engineering programs.
Monitor project progress and oversee plant engineers.
System Development:
Develop and establish engineering systems for manufacturing plants to meet business demands and needs.
