Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home, our office in Manila is a buzzing place. This role is encouraged to be on a hybrid setup so we've created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.

This role will require participation in a rotating 24/5 shift schedule to support our global operations.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Day-to-day processing and coding of supplier invoices across the Canva Entities
• Processing authorized credit notes and distributing invoices for approval
• Being the first point of contact for stakeholder queries and vendor bill disputes
• Reconciling transactions in the AP platform and Finance ERP, and handling discrepancies
• Supporting month-end close and year-end audit activities
• Collaborating with finance teams to meet Shared Services SLAs and improve processes

You're probably a match if:

• You hold a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related business field
• You’re highly organised, have an eye for detail, and can prioritise and meet deadlines
• You have about 2 years of experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable 
• You’re confident with Google Suite or MS Office, and ideally experienced with NetSuite or Jira
• You bring excellent communication skills and enjoy problem-solving
• You're amenable to a rotating shift of 24/5

About the team

The Accounts Payable team is part of our Global Spend group within Finance. Based in the PH Service Centre, we support Canva’s rapid scale and ensure our suppliers and contractors are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. We’re a collaborative, fast-moving team passionate about operational excellence and enabling Canvanauts to focus on impact.
