Job Description - Admin Pricing Team Support (003- 00291)

Looking for Filipino (Philippines-based) candidates

Job Role:                                Admin Pricing Team Support

Compensation range:            $1500-$2000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type:                 Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the

Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A Melbourne-based temperature-controlled freight provider specializing in same-day pickup and delivery of refrigerated, frozen, confectionery, and ambient goods. Its customers include small businesses, large supermarkets, and corporations. The company works with both in-house and subcontractor drivers, who receive work instructions through a daily job manifest

Role Overview: The company employs administrative staff to process jobs completed the previous day. These jobs are reviewed, priced, and approved for invoicing within the Consignmate Transport Management Software (TMS). Each job is linked to customers through unique codes, with pricing based on predetermined routes, freight type, and time spent at pickup and delivery locations.

Driver manifests are also reviewed, priced, and approved for payment to drivers. Their activities are matched to customer codes, providing visibility into costs and margins for each client. Customer payments are then reconciled with invoiced jobs to ensure accuracy, with any discrepancies addressed promptly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Transport Management System (TMS), Consignmate to accurately price jobs based on manifests reviewed and approved by the Operations Team.
  • Update job statuses within the TMS once pricing is completed.
  • Price entire manifests after individual job pricing is finalized and update manifest statuses accordingly.
  • Perform weekly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment between internal TMS records and customer systems.
  • Tasks include reconciling pricing and payments, verifying paperwork, and other administrative duties.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies between internal and external records in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of pricing and reconciliation activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and data accuracy.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain high standards of operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Strong self-motivation and dedication to delivering accurate, detailed work.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience working in data entry or management systems preferred.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to work confidently with data and figures.
  • Capable of independently reviewing and checking own work to ensure accuracy.
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have: 

  • An ability to understand the Australian accent.
  • Experience within pricing, or admin support functions.
  • Great personality and incredible patience.
  • Power BI skills would be an advantage.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

  • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core [AEST or PHT] business hours
  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
