Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Intake Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Intake Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, experience with patient intake, and the ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls in a busy medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, including new patient inquiries, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Conduct patient intake, gathering demographic, insurance, and medical information accurately.
• Perform insurance verification for new and returning patients.
• Manage Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with insurance adjusters and case managers.
• Maintain organized and confidential patient records.
• Support daily office operations and assist the physician and clinical staff as needed.

• Must be fully proficient in Spanish and English.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Intake Specialist in a U.S.-based clinic or healthcare facility required.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation calls and procedures is strongly preferred.
• Skilled in insurance verification and patient data management.
• Demonstrates excellent phone etiquette and clear, professional communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable in completing tasks and follow-ups.

Please note that this is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $8 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-5:30pm PST.
