  • Monitor and resolve denied or unpaid claims by coordinating with payers.
  • Conduct audits of billing records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Revenue Cycle Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing and collections workflows.
  • Generate reports on billing activities, collections, and outstanding accounts.

Insurance Verification & Pre-Authorization

  • Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility before service delivery.
  • Obtain pre-authorizations for services as required.

Client Communication

  • Act as the primary contact for billing inquiries from clients and patients.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment plans.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized billing records in line with company standards.

Must-Have:

  • 1-3 years of healthcare billing experience
  • Strong understanding of insurance billing processes, CPT codes, and payer-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with billing software such as CentralReach or similar platforms (e.g., AlohaABA, Tebra, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Naturally curious, coachable, and open-minded
  • Payer-side billing experience (i.e., insurance company).
  • Experience in ABA-specific billing (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills and comfort using multiple platforms (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, Google Sheets).
  • Competitive Salary: Based on experience and skills
  • Remote Work: Fully remote—work from anywhere
  • Generous PTO: 14 days per year (2 weeks notice required for vacation leaves)
  • Holiday Adherence: 7 US Federal Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday
