Job Description - Broker Assistant (AU) | WFH | with 30K Sign-On Bonus!

Purpose of the Role:

Intogreat Solutions is looking for a highly organised and service-focused Broker Assistant to support our growing General Insurance division. If you're detail-oriented, eager to grow your insurance knowledge, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in the industry.

As a Broker Assistant, you’ll work closely with Account Executives and Junior Brokers to ensure seamless processing of new business, renewals, endorsements, and client communications. You'll be instrumental in delivering accurate, timely service to our clients and insurer partners, maintaining policy and claims documentation, and contributing to a high-performance team culture. Your dedication to compliance, continuous learning, and teamwork will help uphold our commitment to exceptional service and integrity in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Servicing
• Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Account Executives and Junior Brokers
• Processing of new business, renewals and policy maintenance to ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers
• Providing and following up on quotations
• Processing all new business
• Processing of endorsements/amendments
• Quoting of renewals
• Preparing correspondence between clients and underwriters for approval by the Account Executive or Junior Broker
• Updating of Claims Status reports
• Maintaining Claims files
• Assisting other Brokers when required for general queries

Education/ Compliance
• Undertake Professional Development as outlined in training plan
• Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes
• Adhere to internal privacy guidelines and maintain confidentiality
• Acquire a sound knowledge of clients’ industries, businesses and risks
• Acquire knowledge of the Insurance industry and market
• Maintain an understanding of the products and services offered by the Company

Teamwork
• Work effectively with team/work group or those outside the formal line of authority (e.g. peers, senior managers) to accomplish organisational goals
• Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about work status
• Take actions that respect the needs and contributions of others
• Contribute to, accept and assist in the implementation of the organisation's vision and values
• Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to company policies and principles as detailed


Requirements

What We’re Looking For: 
• At least 2 to 3 years AU insurance broker support experience
• Work experience in either insurance or broker company
• Experience with multiple insurance lines
• Knowledge of Insight Broking Platform or SCTP Platform desirable
