Business Intelligence Engineer

Position Title: Business Intelligence Engineer
Location: Ermita, Manila
Work Schedule: Day shift, flexible time (Flexi hours) - (1st month full onsite; thereafter, 1 week onsite per month and the rest are remote or wfh, the remote schedule per month would be given by the IT Manager)

Salary Range: PHP 100,000 PHP 120,000
Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the gathering, analysis, and design of business requirements.
• Extract and transform report data from various internal and external sources.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate actionable business insights.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Administer and maintain BI tools and platforms, including user access management, security implementation, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and provide scalable solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers.
• Continuously monitor BI systems and troubleshoot issues related to data quality or performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions, specifically using Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience in data warehousing and data modeling (including normalization and denormalization).
• Strong ETL skills: Experienced in extracting and transforming data from various sources using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficient in T-SQL scripting and strong technical knowledge of relational databases.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and user accessibility.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
