Job Role: Buyer Support Associate

Compensation range: $1,500 - $2,000 AUD/month

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a well-established Australian mortgage brokerage operating within a large national lending network. With access to a broad panel of lenders and a strong reputation for personalised guidance, they support clients through every stage of the home loan journey — from initial education and strategy through to settlement. Their approach is highly relationship-driven, focused on clarity, trust, and helping Australians make confident, informed property decisions.

Role Overview: The Buyer Support Associate will be the primary point of contact for first-home buyers, providing guidance, support, and education throughout the property journey. This role focuses on relationship-building, lead nurturing, and conversion rather than loan processing.

You’ll turn existing content into simple, actionable information packs and run structured calls that help prospects feel confident and informed. Your ability to communicate clearly, connect with prospects, and inspire trust will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct structured calls with first-home buyers, guiding them through the buying journey
• Advise on who to include in their property-buying team (e.g., buyer’s agents, conveyancers) and the steps to prepare financially
• Turn existing resources and content into clear, concise guidance materials and info packs
• Nurture leads and build strong relationships to convert prospects into brokerage clients
• Provide a consistently high-quality customer experience, ensuring prospects feel supported and confident

• Exceptional communication skills and charisma; able to engage and build trust with Australian prospects

• Confident speaking on the phone and running structured calls
• Ability to simplify complex information into digestible guidance materials
• Strong focus on relationship-building and conversion
• Property experience (buyer’s agent, real estate, or Australian market knowledge) is a plus, but not essential
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
