Job Title: Commercial Estimator
Location: Remote (MST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (MST)

Position Overview:

The Commercial Estimator will lead the full commercial bidding lifecycle, from identifying and reviewing new opportunities to preparing digital takeoffs and submitting accurate, timely estimates. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident, navigating bidding platforms and interpreting construction plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and review commercial construction projects for bidding.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs from construction drawings using software like StackCT.
• Prepare comprehensive bids and estimates, including all required documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of bids through platforms like Procore, Construct Connect, Building Connected, BidNet, BuilderTrend, and iSqft.
• Follow up with builders and general contractors to track bid status and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on priorities and project goals.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in commercial estimation and digital material takeoffs.
• Familiarity with bidding platforms such as Procore, Construct Connect, Building Connected, BidNet, BuilderTrend, and iSqft.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret construction plans.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the insulation or construction industry.
• Ability to use (or learn) takeoff tools like StackCT.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple bids.
• Comfortable balancing technical work with light business development.
