Credit Collection Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Virtual Assistant specialized in Credit Control & Sales Ledger Support  Credit Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing aged debt reports, clearing receipts from payments, and ensuring clients make timely payments. You will interact with clients via both phone and email to resolve outstanding invoices and obtain payment commitments. The position requires a balance of strong communication skills and financial knowledge.

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote or Hybrid - Cebu (depending on you)

Offer:  Php 25, 000 + night differential and 13th month pay plus Government Statutory Benefits.

Years of Experience: 3 to 4

• Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments
• Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments
• Contact clients via phone (40%) and email (60%) regarding outstanding invoices
• Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments
• Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly
• Set up new clients in the system and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies
• Monitor and report on collection progress to senior management

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to handle phone and email conversations effectively
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
